An ambulance service in this region reported that they have had problems with 6.0L Power Stroke diesel engines with the fuel injection systems. Ford published a Technical Service Bulletin on the problem in July 2003. Each vehicle has eight injectors, but Ford replaces only the ones that prove defective and allow diesel fuel to contaminate the crankcase oil. In most cases, this problem merely causes the engine to run rough. The Ford dealership has replaced at least one of the eight injectors on each of this service's ambulances. Are any of the rest of you having problems of a similar nature?
